Pauline Prior

Pauline Prior is an artist who keeps herself busy making photography in something 3-dimensional.
In her photos and photo-assemblies, on textile in combination with it, she uses images that illustrate several angles on special theme. Along with it she uses a considerable amount of relative humor.
She tries to give meaning and atmosphere to her work, mostly literary and contemplative.
Pauline Prior studied at the Rietveld Academy where she graduated in 1985. She then went to the scenographic department of Prague’s Theater School. She was a member of Kunstadvies Commissie Amsterdam, gave workshops, radio interviews and directed plays.
